N64 Controller Help please

Hi i have looked all over the web but i cant find help anywhere
anyway i am having a problem with my n64 controller plugged into the pc
it doesnt work properly, when i go to configure the buttons it automatically selects them for me and selects wrong 1s, like a is start and b is go up etc
do u have any resolution for this? such as controller profile plugin or somethin else? thanks

yes you need a separate controller plugin

could u please post me a actual profile that saves the buttons for project64
the controller is the actualy n64 controller
