    Unhappy ePSXe 1.6 WNASPI32.dll error

hi, i downloaded ePSXe last night as my ps2 has decided to stop playing ps1 games.

ive installed petes openGL, scph-1001 bios, eternalSPU and managed to get final fantasy 8 to work first time (i know it says that it isnt supported without a patch) albeit at 200fps.

i went into the gpu config and set the limit frame rate to 50fps and now it doesnt even load. when i try to set up the cdrom plugin it comes up with an error saying |wnaspi32.dll missing" then closes epsxe.

final fantasy 7 runs but with missing sound and dreadful load times/slowdown (from cd not iso)

    my computer is as follows...
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (socket 939 and not overclocked)
    1024MB ram
256MB nVIDIA WinFast PX 6800 Ultra Graphics card

any help on the wnaspi32.dll and the slow game speeds would be greatly appreciated. cheers!

Fairly old thread but this needs to be said.

Never....EVER....download random system DLL files. You might want to look at this: https://www.lifewire.com/how-to-fix-...errors-2624254

The solution is not very direct like download and put it there but it is alot safer.
