Nebula question

so i got nebula, works like a charm BUT i got 3 controllers, 2 ps1 and a generic usb , plus my keyboard.

so technically i got 4 right? so why can't i play 4 players? wth eh? tried at least 3 on AvP, nothing. i get 2 players, i keep pressin insert coin and start on P3 and nuthin.

so i thought, mebbe its the version or whatever, so i try battle circuit. (its a 4 player game) anyway i try it, nuthin. i keep pressin the start and insert coin of P3 and P4 nuthin. yes i know how to configure em. nebula detects 3 joypads and a keyboard.

so whats the deal eh? how do i make it so that there's 4 players(3 with avp) on a single PC?


oh yeah, and what's a good way to customize controls? i mean i seem to end up customizing controls for everygame. so should i plug all controllers at once and start customizing then save, or is it 1 controller per setup, then save?

tried kawaks, no dice.

why in the blue hell can't there be 4 players on 1 PC?! why oh why? doesn't make sense. anybody know any info on how to get around this?
