Need help with N64 emu on Xbox

I am new to this forum but before posting this thread I searched for previous posts related to my issue and found one that wasn't helpful at all titled, "N64 on Xbox = crap?", hence this new post:

My xbox has some emus on it, one of which is N64. I believe it's the PJ64-X v7 N64 emu and it has 4 available plugins (8m, 16m and 32m etc.). The emu launches with no problem, but when I select one of the roms and select the appropriate plugin, the screen stays black. Is there anyone familiar with PJ64 emu and how to get it to work on the xbox? Or could someone possibly direct me to another forum that might know? Thanks in advance for your help.
