need help mapping N64 controller for mame

i'm trying to set the buttons on a N64 controller for mane. directional contols are self explainatory but i'd like some guidance on the buttons. there's 10 of them.

i'm going for the "fighting" configuration where the top row of buttons are light, medium, and full power punches and the bottum are kicks - in that same order from left to right. any help is appreciated. thanks.

I believe 1,2,3 corresponds to ABC.. when you start dealing with block buttons though I don't know really. You may have to tweak to individual games, as not all games have the same controls, and do a lot of trial and error.

thanks for the suggestion but it was easier then i thought. the top roll is numbered 1, 2, 3 from left to right and bottum are 4, 5, 6 respectively the rest of the buttons i probably won't have to worry about.
