    Default problems with zsnes and project 64

    hello guys,

    when i try to play games on zsnes i get an error direct draw7 set display mode failed, make sure ur video card support this mode

    what should i do?

    im also having problem with project 64

    it says while processing graphics data an exception occured you may need to restart the emulator

    it seems i have some problems with my graphics card


    any suggestions??

    Well it would help if you told us what kind of videocard you have.

    Perhaps the required modes are really not supported by your videocard or the
    version of DirectX you have installed is to old. I'm not familiar enough myself with
    ZSNES to know if it can operate without DirectX, but "DirectX 7 DirectDraw" seems
    like a pretty basic requirement, something ANY modern Windows PC should handle fine.

    You can try upgrading your video card drivers, or at least try upgrading to the
    latest version of DirectX: http://www.microsoft.com/directx

    I don't know what the cause of the Project64 issue is, but it may be related.

    To check what kind of hardware you have and if it's fully DirectX compatible, try:
    "Start" menu -> "Run..." -> Type "dxdiag" and click OK. This should start the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.
