No Diagnols On Controller??!!!!??

Hey, am I the only one that cannot get my controller diagnols to work? I use the snes9x nd znes emulators and my roms are .smc. Whenever I try to configure the controller diagnols, it won't let me!! That is really lame!! Is there an emulator that allows controller diagnols? Or am I doing something wrong? Any advice is gretly appreciated! here is a pic of my controller.

Try to play with the configuration menu a bit longer and to set a combination of directions(parhaps?).

Hey LefterisI figured out what the problem was. I t wasn't my controller, it was the snes9x emulator. For some reason, it doesn't process diagnol controls very well (you know, left & Up, etc simultaneously). So then I tried the roms again in ZSNES and everything worked fine! I wonder why the difference between the 2 emulators? Anyways thanx again dude!
