Default *sighs* Legend of Zelda OoT problem..

    Hey guys.

I don't know if this has been posted before, if it has, sorry.

I've got an Ocarina of Time rom that I've been having a few problems with. I had one rom, that in the opening cutscene when Navi would fly past Mido, it would say some error and then say stopping emulation. I got a different one, and it worked past that cutscene. The thing is, I've beaten this game quite a few times on my real n64, and I wanted to use cheats with it.

At first, I would be playing through the Deku Tree, and then it would generate an error in one of the rooms and stop the game. Then I finally decided that I didn't care about the Deku Tree, so I went to the Lost Woods, and just hovered myself on to the bridge where Saria gives the Ocarina to Link, and then it goes to Hyrule. Once I got all the way to Hyrule castle, it would show the cutscene where Zelda throws the Ocarina of Time into the water. Then I was going to make my way to the Temple, but as soon as I play the Song of Time at the Altar and walk into the chamber, it says something about non-game space or something like that and stops the emulation.

Could this be because I'm using cheats? Or do I just have 2 faulty roms?

    Thanks a lot.

It could be both. Try using Project64 (if you are not using it) since I have never had any problem playing it from the beginning to the end. Also, use cheats whenever is necessary.
