    Default Cassini a bit slow

Hello, I have recently strated running the Cassini emulator for Shining Force III Senario II, and I must say that the result is actually better then the expected. However, the game IS slow (I am using a ISO file by the way), is there a way around this? The main focus is the sound, some songs are really being played slowly.

I thank you all in advance.

As far as i know, emulating a Saturn is very demandinug on the processor, as it draws its basic shapes as quadrilaterals, not triangles as the PS1 and a PC does. I think you need around 3ghz for decent speed, what speeds your CPU?

Ok, it seems I have another problem:

I got another version of Cassini. But everytime I load up an image file it freezes showing the BIOS screen. I tried running a CD game and it went to the bios again, as if I was tryting to load it with the wrong region set up, but this happened with all regions I tried to load.

I still prefer using Cassini v1.0 than the latest version which gave more complicating and confusing.

You should try SSF if your PC is either Pentium 4 or Athlon 64, as it is better than Cassini.

I have a AMD SEMPRON 3200+.Its 1.8 GHZ but I used clockgen to over clock it to 2.0 GHZ and when I run Cassini 4.0 I get no speed problems whatsoever. The only problems I had is just compatability.

You should know not all Sega Saturn games can be played with Cassini, even with SSF but SSF is better. The latest version of Cassini doesn't make any major changes on compability.
