What format of games work on the SNES 9x emulator. i tryed some from a place called frozen roms that were .rar and they didnt show up when i tried to open a game. Any idea whats wrong?

There's no emulator that can load directly from .rar files. Extract the ROM inside the .rar file with WinRAR.
If you wish to save some space, compress your ROM into a .zip file.
