Rom help

hey, just wondering whats wrong with my emulator (or game). when i try to open a rom from the emulator project 64, it dosent come up with the game, just an error that says failed to initialize - could not finish task (or something) im doing this with supermario 64 7z. any ideas why it wont work? ((tryed it with other games too, none of em work >.<

7z you say? i don't know if project 64 has 7z compatability, extract the 7z (using 7zip) and then try again.

when i use the extractor it comes up with about twenty useless files =( what emulator dose work with 7z?

The ROM should be one of the files that come out of the 7-zip file. It probably has a .z64, .n64 or .bin extension. It's probably the largest file within the 7-zip file.
