Thread: PC Game MDK not working on windows xp. Help!

  1. #1

    Default PC Game MDK not working on windows xp. Help!

    I have windows xp, directx 8.1, 128 mb ram, and 1.5 GHZ processor. The game MDK runs on win95 or dos, requires 16 megs (is megs the same as mb?), and directx 3.1 or better. I try to play it, but a black screen shows up for while, then the windows desktop comes back again. Do I need any specific plugins or patches. Please help.

    Seems like the game is too old and it's not compatible with Windows XP. Try setting it to "Windows 95" in the "compatibility" tab and see what happens, but I cannot guarantee you it will work.

    Try DOSBox with the D-Fend frontend.

    I hate half of you...especially the dumb ones.
    Some of you are on my blacklist and so shall be any asswife that tries to prove he's worth anything.
    If this post somewhat offends your silly arse,then I proved my point.
    You have been warned so don't cry to your momma about it later on...or any mods for that matter.

    The correct therm is MB (with caps).

    MB = Megabytes (file size).
    Mb = Megabits (commonly used for internet speed measuring).

    Not the same.
