Problems with dragon force on laptop.

I am using a laptop to play Dragon Force through SSF, but, its really glitchy after a couple minutes. I mean glitchy to the point where it freezes for a few seconds, then skips past the point where it would originally be, then the audio is all weird. But its not right when it started, its after a couple minutes. The stats on the laptop are...

Pentium 4 2.6ghz

512ram

windows xp

ATI Radeon Mobile 7500 32mb.

I thought it would run it well, but is the graphics card too weak? Or is it something else?

Much the contrary your laptop is powerful lol, its just the compatibility of the sega emulation is very weak also seems they abandoned the project for long now and never tryed to improve it anymore, sorry for the bad news.
