Chrono Cross --> Elements freeze. o.o"

I tried the search button, and was still unable to find the solution. My friend and I are using a Chrono Cross ISO for Disk 1.

Everything is perfect.. but once I enter a battle, I am able to fight and stuff and everything is fine... but as soon as I press Element [to use magic] the game goes REALLY slow and glitchy, nearly frozen.

I would also like to know what FPS I should run the game in. [current is 60.0]

I read up on this. I did try adding the -noauto at the end of the target on the shortcut. [ someone with same problem getting assistance ]

This did not solve my problem..

(1) 60 FPS is fine for the US version. 50 FPS for PAL.

(2) If you are using ePSXe 1.6.0 (which I only assume) try ePSXe 1.5.2.

(3) Your video plug-in settings would be useful. If you are using any of Pete's plug-ins, just click the corner button on the plug-in menu and you can paste them here.

(4) Try Emuforums.com and search there. They have a huge backlog of Chrono Cross posts and I know this problem has come up before.
