Exclamation [REQUEST] Recommended VBA Settings for Low-End PC's

I have been looking for some recommended settings to help me run VBA to emulate a GBA game on my low-end laptop with the best possible performance as I do not fully understand all of the given VBA options. If anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks

There are many factors that can improve performance:

    • Use an earlier version of VisualVoyAdvance (1.7 should do).
    • Frame skipping (above 4 or 6, though it won't be comfortable due to the lack of smoothness).
    • Low resolution (320x240).
    • Low sound sample rate (11 KHz).
    • VSync disabled.
    • No screen stretching.
    • Avoid the use of filters and video enhancements.
