Thread: Gens "waves"

    Default Gens "waves"

I'm using the latest version of Gens. I have a very fast computer, I'm just wondering if there is an option marked off or one that I need to mark off to deal with this problem.

When I'm playing games, there seems to be these "wave-like" horizontal lines that make their way up the screen. They just distort the picture a little on their way up...does anyone know the cause of this?

    Thanks,

Perhaps there is a 'vsync' option that you can enable? It's just a wild guess...

Thanks for the reply. I noticed that the "vsync" option worked for other emulators that I have, however even when I enabled it for Gens, the lines continued to make their way. I have found that the "waves" are particularly noticable in "Aladdin" among some other games, whereas some are not so bad.

    Thanks again for the help,

Have you tried Gens32 or Fusion Kega yet ?
Maybe there's some strange incompatability between your system and the Gens version you're using.

Fusion is the best Sega emu out there.

BTW,a screenshot with those waves might be useful.

I hate half of you...especially the dumb ones.
Some of you are on my blacklist and so shall be any asswife that tries to prove he's worth anything.
If this post somewhat offends your silly arse, then I proved my point.
You have been warned so don't cry to your momma about it later on...or any mods for that matter.
