Emulator Colors

I am trying to figure out what emulator for NES represents colors the best.

I have tried a handful of emulators. None seem to match the color scheme for the original nes games. In your opinion, which emulator comes closest to matching the original color schemes?

Matching the color scheme can be real tricky because your computer monitor also shows color differently than most TV's, and on top of that, colors can also vary from monitor brand to the next.

I was under the impression some NES emulators supported custom color palettes. Have you looked into that? You could make your own I imagine.
