Default HELP!! VBA 1.73 speed unstable.

Hi there, I am sorry if this has been asked already, but this problem is bugging me. I was playing Pokemon Emerald and decided to trade, so I do the method of opening 2 VBA windows, disabling "Pause when inactive window". I was configuring the joypad for the 2nd window, when it suddendly erases all defined keys and when I play the game the speed jumps from 100% to 460%.

Has anyone experienced this problem before? How do I solve it? Thanks in advance.

Well, it's been a while since i had VBA so i'm not sure, but if i don't remember wrong there is a key that if pressed it causes the games to run at a much higer speed, all the way up to 500% if you want it to, i think it was space. have you checked and see if thats the problem?

I had a problem like that once and this is how i fixed it.

I guess you're using VBAlink. Anyway,
How to use the singlecomp version?

    * Download VBALink
    * Unzip it to a folder like c:\games\vbalink
    * Start two (three, four) VisualBoys at once
    * In Options/Emulator, uncheck Pause when inactive window
    * You don't have to turn off the sound like in tgb - only the active VBA produces sound
    * Setup all the things, like controls, save paths & so on
    * If you want a log of the transfer, check Log in Options/Link

Spacebar raises the speed, but thatīs not the problem. The speed keeps unstable and I cant do a thing to change it. It starts randomly and the percentage goes to 400-500.

Also, when I am trying to change keys for the second window, it suddendly starts scrolling down quickly.

Did you try to change the throttle to 100%?

    EDIT
Here´s a better explanation of what happens. I open the second window and go to joypad. I am changing the direction pad controls and when I get to "start" and "select" it resets everything that´s left. I go back and try again. It resets pretty quickly and it scrolls down.
Then I open the ROM and it speeds up to 400% without pressing the Spacebar.

Does this have to do with the latest Nvidea drivers?
