Question Why aren't my configure buttons working for plugins???

Hi, I am running MEPIS 3.4 and just recently downloaded epsxe. I got the whole thing working, even got ff9 working, its just its extremely too fast! So googled around and saw that it may be a fps problem so i went to the configurations to check it out. The thing was though, my configure button wouldnt do anything! It would just indent and then nothing would come up. What could be the problem? Is there any other way to lower the fps for my plugins? I've already downloaded 3 different plugins and still none of them bring up a configuration window.

Get PEOpS video plugin and click this button:

Check Limit FPS and Limit FPS at 60.

Ok, i downloaded that plugin and installed it but its still not bringing up that window with all of the options. I also figured out that the "about" button isnt working either. For some reason this problem applies to the sound plugins as well...

    Restart PC.
Delete the emu.Run a Registry Cleaner then reinstall the emu.
You are using ePSXe 1.6.0 ? Try 1.5.2.

If it still doesn't work it's either a Windows problem or you have a Trojan/Virus.
Check that with Ad-Aware,SpyBot and your antivirus software.

After you delete the emu...you can manually delete de registry entries if you know how.

Don't forget to enable the FF9 option at "special game fixes" on Pete's GPU plugins. And yes, it will work better with 1.5.2
