I barely made it to Level 3...But the controls are a pain in the ass...
Shift/CTRL are Jump/Run...on my left arm.
I'm used to having Directional controls on the left and action buttons on the right so it is very hard for me to play.

I hope it works with a gamepad, since my PSX controller should be perfect for it

It does...It detects it first time you start the game.
But I don't have any joypad right now...
