Thread: final fantasy IX trouble!

    Default final fantasy IX trouble!

    ok ive got it to work on both ntsc and Pal. i have the cd.

    But when i get to the first battle screen with zidane's boss it freezes right there. wat should i do?

    btw i have epsx 1.52.

    So it hangs the same battle on both PAL/NTSC versions,isn't it? Anyway, check the "special game fixes" on Pete's GPU Direct3D/OpenGL/OpenGL2 plugins about FFIX, and also on Eternal/P.E.Op.S sound plugins. Make sure you got the latest version of that plugins.

    ya. I have tried the game fixes but they dont work still keeps freezing on the first battle scene


    i have basically set on Fast Settings to get to the first battle scene.

    dunno if this would help, but. try setting it to "nice"

    Anyway, try to use other emulators or use hagbard's advice above. If the problem still unsolved, try to post it here.
