using pal saves with ntsc game

i have a final fantasy viii PAL game save on my psone memory card when i played it a few years ago, and i managed to get hold of an ntsc iso of FFVIII, but NTSC games won't work with PAL saves as you know. Is it possible to be able to convert the ntsc iso so it will work with a PAL save.

I know that NTSC can be converted to work on a modded PAL playstation, but having converted the ntsc to pal, i tried the pal iso on epsxe and it needs ntsc saves. Any ideas to convert NTSC so I can use my PAL saves?

You can convert the video mode of a game, but the game saves would rarely work, because different versions of the same game (per region) are mostly diffferent games at all
