Almost all older systems are emulated. And for the newer systems you're right. You SHOULD buy those :)

Did Sony pay you to say that Alco?

Gameboy Advance isn't new, but it's one of the actual systems that works almost as good as SNES ones.

Yes, 5 million to be exactly.
No, I'm serious about that. I think you should buy newer systems. I have a GC a GBA (and many retro systems) and I play the rest on emulators. It is becoming more and more a risk for developers to make a game, so if everybody copies and cracks games, there will be less and less games...

Easier said than done, Alco. Come here to Venezuela and check the prices:

Nintendo Gamecube: $350.
Nintendo Gamecube games: $90.

Sony PlayStation 2: $325.

Microsoft Xbox: $488.
Microsoft Xbox 360: $1,164

Gameboy Advance SP: $265.
Gameboy Advance games: $27.

Plus minimal earning is $214 montly. Those are the reasons to not have any modern console in this country :(

Not going to happen.I think there will be a balance.New systems like PS2 and xbox got modchipped fast but Sony still has profits and the big dev names are still doing very good.Xbox had losses (because of the system) and xbox360 isn't "cracked" yet.

Butters are those numbers right ?
They're more than twice the price.
X360...$1.164 ...it should be $399 if it's at least a Premium version.

Even if you shop at Wal-Mart, it's too hard for normal people to keep up with gaming technology. Especially at current prices.

Yikes!

In your situation I can imagine, Butters. But here the situation is as follows:

Nintendo Gamecube: $99 (including a game).
Nintendo Gamecube games: $60.

Sony PlayStation 2: $199.

Microsoft Xbox: $199
Microsoft Xbox 360: $3/400

Gameboy Advance SP: $99.
Gameboy Advance games: $45.

And minimum wage should be around €800, I guess. That's an entirely different situation.

Are those prices up to date, Alco? At least, in my country:

Sony PlayStation 2: 146€ ~ 176$

Microsoft Xbox: 99€ ~ 119$

Gameboy Advance SP: 96€ ~ 115$
Gameboy Advance Micro: 94€ ~113$

Nintendo DS: 126€ ~151$

The difference is even bigger here

Damn guys, should I buy some of them somewhere else? :(
I think so, specially if the shipping and customs duty worth it (this might change a lot depending your country law)
