Nintendo 64 controller help!!

For some reason, some of the games ask 'Controller is not inserted in Socket 1'. How can I fix this other than buying the controller? And how can you configure the control pad? It wouldn't move? Do you use mouse or something?

First, check if the "Plugged" box is checked and you can easily map your keys by binding them.

Thanks for that, but I still can't move up or down. Which one in the configuration is the Control Pad?

OK. Oh and if a game requires you to tap the analog stick rather than rotating it, what should I do? Because using the rotate buttons don't work.

Rotate buttons? Map your real analog stick (your gamepad) as you would do with a digital pad, but using the virtual analog keys on the plugin's config window
