Thread: Does any emulator play commercial games?

Default Does any emulator play commercial games?

I have downloaded Saturne and SSF - neither of them work at the moment because I haven't installed WNNASPI, so the cdblock plugins won't work yet. I am only trying to run Mystaria and Shining the Holy Ark, both of which I have written onto CDs. Is it worth me continuing to install the ASPI .dlls (as my OS has NONE of them) or am I wasting my time? I have read on this forum somewhere that Saturne and SSF will not play commercial games anyway.

Both can play games but not fully yet, especially Satourne which is still in WIP.

On the other hand, you can install ASPI layer or just drop WNASPI32.dll in Windows\System32 folder instead.

You can find it from here.

So far, SSF is the best Sega Saturn emulator so far.
