Thread: game to fast

    hi everyone,

    i need some help i install yersterday the psx emu and wonder it functioned but the game itself run to fast i play final fantasy7 there is a possibility to break the game that it will run with the normal speed ?

    What emulator are you using?

    You need to limit your frame rate, there should be an option
    to do so where you configure your video plugin.

    i use the emu:
    epsxe160
    video: Pete's DX6 D3D Driver 1.75
    sound: P.E.Op.S. DSound Audio Driver 1.7
    bios: scph7502.bin

    the video config is:
    Auto-detect FPS/Frame skipping limit
    killroy was here

    "Auto-detect FPS/Frame skipping limit" isn't the video config - it's an option. You need to set the relevant thing. FPS limit should be on.

    I didn,t know you slow down the frame rates on epsxe

    ok i choose Use FPS limit
    and than ?
    Auto-detect FPS/Frame skipping limit
    or
    FPS limit (10-200) ?

    You could either set the FPS number to 60, or let it detect automatically :-)
