Chankast memory card problems

I cant use memory cards with chankast alpha 0.25 It always says i Have insufficent memory, I have 40GB left on my hard drive so I know this is not true. plz help

I don't know if it's the same problem as mine but I kept playing and hoping I would be able to save until I learned that I had to "Format" the mermory cards.

Launch chankast with no game to go to the dreamcast menus and choose the memory card. You should find the way to do it from there (can't remember exactly how besides choosing a cow icon )
