Default arcade button lay out help.

Most games fall under the 3 by 2 row button config:

    OOO
    OOO

I find mame is best to set up like follows:

    456
    123

Some games like Stree fight I here is best to use

    123
    456

This is fine since I can set per game. NoW here is what confuses me. Sega MK is as follows:

    button-A(LOW PUNCH)
    button-B(BLOCK)
    button-C(LOW KICK)
    button-X(HIGH PUNCH)
    button-Y(RUN)
    button-Z(HIGH KICK)

and the arcade is what like this?

    (LAYOUT)
    123
    456

    1(HIGH PUNCH)
    2(RUN)
    3(LOW KICK)
    4(HIGH PUNCH)
    5(BLOCK)
    6(HIGH KICK)

I though sega matched the arcade layout. Can any one make corrections here and help me out? I remember mk1 in he arcade was:

    O O
    O
    O O

    1 2
    3
    4 5

    1(HIGH PUNCH)
    2(HIGH KICK)
    3(BLOCK) I think..
    4(LOW PUNCH)
    5(LOW KICK)
