Thread: Porting?

  1. #1

    Question Porting?

Hey, I know you can port a PC game to a console (ex: "Doom" PC -> "Doom" NDS), but is it possible to port a game from one console to another? (ex: PSX -> GCN)

What the? If that's possible it wouldn't be easy and the close things that can do that are emulators.

I'm not talkin playing console games on the PC, I know how to do that. And I know that there are emulators for playing ,say, Arcade games on a PS2, for example. I'm asking if it's possible to port a game from one console to another without an emulator.

There have been many ports like that Toy Story 2 game (PSX -> DC), but I'm not really sure.

Unless you are one of the developers who needs a lot of hard work on porting games to another consoles.
