Default Using a Logitech Dual Action controller to play ZSNES games

I just got this Dual Action game pad, buttons work fine and all, it's just that there is a D-pad which recognizes 8 directions instead of 4 directions, like a true SNES controller. This kind of doesn't allow me to play my game well because of the screwed up directions, is there a way to change the d-pad settings so that if it goes to the top-right, it will recognize it as only right, and the same for the other directions?

You can remap the diagonal keys in Zsnes: "Config" -> "Input #1" -> "Diagonals", then click and press the keys you want yo use. Otherwise, you can disable the diagonal keys on SNES9x.
