adaptoid!!

hey guys thought i would let ya know the adaptoid is back in production!!

(for those not in the know,the adaptoid is a compact cable extension that you can plug your n64 controller into and then plug it into a usb port on your pc. it also allows you to upload info from your memory card onto your pc hard drive.)

it went out of production sometime around the start of last year and since the price has gone up exponentially (some for sale at $500 on ebay) however now you can buy it for only $30 at

Great news, Genome! These things are a b#tch to get here in Holland. $500 is just plain stupid. Many people have the skills to make them theirselves (not me!). I hope my local gameshop will import them

Genome, thx so much. I had to make a few myself. But nothing like the real deal. The adaptoid, has the advanced features and driver support that the psx/n64 does not!! Well worth the 30$$..

Anyone know where to get the instructions to make your own or anything like that? cuz i've been searching for a week, and everywhere either doesn't carry the adaptoid, or is out of stock, in the case of ztnet store!!!

It really has everything you need to make one. I had to play with it to get the n64 only adapter but it worked out for me. You wont be able to make the adaptoid, the diagram is not released. so no force feed back or mem-pack control. Have to buy one for that stuff. but the site I listed will show you how to get the basics working. 16 buttons.
