FCE Ultra Question

Could someone please tell me how to save games on FCE Ultra. When I'm playing a game a go to save state as, and I name the file. But when I try to load state from, it doesn't work. Any help would be great.

This has been asked before. Check this thread. You need to use the .fc extension while saving the state, or rename it later. The problem is that "Load State from" dialog filters the files to only show .fc* extension
