Thread: Need Help with Atari 2600 Z26 Emulator

Default Need Help with Atari 2600 Z26 Emulator

Everytime I download this emulator and try to install it I get this...
"Version 2.13-X86_CORE and below that I click "OK" and nothing happens. The execution file looks like the little clip board thing right? I want to try this emulator because I believe it's the only one that supports Pitfall 2. What am I doing wrong? Am I missing some other file to be able to install Z26? Any help would be great. Also, how is the sound on this EMU and does Chopper Command sound like the original?

Use a frontend like X26 (click "Programs"), or other more user friendly emu like Stella

    Hi,
I downloaded the X26 thing, but don't know where to put the Atari 2600 ROMS to make them open up. Also, when I click on the X26 desktop icon, it tells me to select Z26 path before I continue??? It then goes to a pop up where you're supposed to load the roms. Any idea?

When x26 asks for Z26 path, just look for it, then load the ROMs anywhere you place them.
