    Default Sound Problems

My sound driver was fine, until later today, there wasn't any sound. I installed a realtek driver and the dxdiag thing, said the sound card driver was empty. How do I get the sound back?

Go to "Start" -> "Control Panel" -> "Performance and Maintenance" -> "Administrative Tools" -> "Computer Management" -> "Device Manager" -> "Sound, game ,etc devices" -> Look to see your sound card branch, click properties -> "Controller" -> "Roll Back Driver"

If that doesn't work, try to check on your sound card on hardware to make sure it is still intact.

Note : Probably ask for technician as the last option.
