    Default arcade emulation

    im new to arcade emulation and i no you can play games like mavel vs capcom and snk vs capcom but what type of files r they?
    need help finding them i can find the dreamcast ones but not arcade

    They are roms , which usually (read:always) come zipped.Example:Marvel Vs. Capcom is mvscap.zip.You place them in the rom folder of mame emulator,start the emu,hit F5 for a refresh and there you go.Also you might wanna try to change a few settings (video,audio,controller mapping).

    p.s.offtopic:how "new" to the arcade emulation are you? You got 234 posts...

    First off, WHAT THE HECK (?!?!) are you talking about? Are you looking for the Dreamcast or Arcade version instead as your post doesn't ring any bell on my head.

    im new to arcade emulation. i have used gba n64 and other emulators just never arcade ones

    Most of the Arcade games will be in zip format. So, don't unzip like the others types.
