    will .img .sub or .ccd files work with epsxe?

    Yes, but not directly. You'll need an image mounter like Daemon Tools. All you need to do is load the .img, .sub or .ccd files with it and Windows will recognize it as a CD-ROM, so you can play them with ePSXe.
