    Default Desktop Blue's

If you remember I made a thread a while back about how I was having problems starting up... Well, it got worse and my hard drive kind of... Died... lol.

I got a brand new computer. Only problem is I think it was priviuosly a school computer and I can't change the backgorund on the desktop...

    Any ideas?

previously a school computer? that doesnt make it brand new. anyways, just play with profile settings (as previously suggested, its not a brand new suggestion) or you could simply format the hard-drive and backup

If it is a used computer which still had a "used" copy of Windows installed, I would also
highly recommend to format and reinstall Windows -- that way you're administrator and
can set any setting anyway you like, while at the same time getting rid of any junk or
other issues the current installation of Windows might have.

Yes I am the administrator... I've tried messing around with all the setting's and nothings working... I'll just try re-installing windows.
    thx

Maybe "new computer" isn't a good term for it... How about gently used. No one was really using it at Emory.
