Zinc 1.1 help!
Hi, newbie here...
Using xp mce
I'm trying to get zinc 1.1 working and have placed it in C:\Zinc along with ZINcGUI-1.9.5 and then placed my roms and firmware.zip in the proper roms folder. Next ran cd\ and cd zinc in command window but none of my roms will run. I keep getting for example "ERROR: missing rom file: roms/hvnsgate.zip [ coh-1001l.353 ] even though the correct files are in my roms folder. Thoughts? suggestions? please help!
I think you're missing some of the Bios and Roms, because the "firmware.zip" it's no more used on Zinc 1.1. The bioses have split into many variants for the ZN1/2 games and the romsets have been updated to match Mame ones.
ClrMame Pro or RomCenter will tell you what you're missing with the proper Dats

Downloaded all the bios and now working great!
All except for tekkenIII......too slow.Is supposed to be slow?
Also I have mame32 ver .99, are zinc roms playable on it? And I have a bunch of .chd files where do i place them in mame directory?

Tekken 3 have some porblems so I think it's normal.
The chd should be placed in the same dir as your roms
