Default CHALLENGE: Answer this emulator question.

    Hello.

Does anyone know if there is such a thing as an emulator which can be used to play a, lets say windows 98 game, on a new PC with XP?

    Does this answer your question?
Of course, keep in mind that this option doesn't always work.

If it doesn't work give a try for Dosbox, if the game is an old dos game

Or install Win98 on the same PC as dual boot, like I did for multiple OS'es on a single PC.

Perhaps VirtualPC or VMWare will help.

    Thanks for the help.

What are the disadvantages of a dual boot?

none really, but i'd imagine it would be possible for the system files of both to somehow become intermangled and screw up both. and plus, you're wasting some 300mb on an OS just to play game(s)
I hate all of you, especially donkeyknob.

    300 mb is nothing.

If you want to dual boot 98 / XP install 98 first on its own FAT32 partition, then install XP on another partition. If anyone somehow manages to fuck that up, well.........whatever

Nothing really big, but the big advice is don't try to install both OS in the same drive.
