I drew a cat on my last ballot paper. I didn't want to vote for any political party that was running in my area. So I spoiled the paper.

It would be funny if somebody made babies illegal, and people started dealing them.

I got the idea that America gave Iraq biological weapons from Michael Moore's great new book Dude Where's My Country. And i have emailed him a request for a source. Hes a bussy guy but lets see if we get a response.

www.michaelmoore.com

There could very well be a difference between biological weapons and weapons of mass destruction depending on the weapon. A biological weapon may or may not cause what would be considered mass destruction. I also don't believe that we gave the biological weapons, however. It was most likely short range missiles, small bombs and the like.

EDIT: Voting is a good thing. :)

mabey you should read his work. what do you know about the guy except that he trys to create a problem with seemingly everything. and every thing he says is backed up with many sources.

I feel very strongly that many things he say are true and should be looked at. some times its good to find a problem with everything, even if its without presidense. Its good to check and double check on important issues that affect everyone and everyone in the future. Regardless of your hate for the blubbering fat idiot hipicrat man Michael Moore i believe strongly that his books have lots of thourghts that should most certinly be looked into.

Use a Word Processor, your grammar/spelling makes me sick.

Anyways....FACTS? What are you talking about? I've seen Bowling For Columbine, and it was pretty ordinary.

"Canadians never lock their door" - first of all, how can that prick say that the majority of people never lock their doors? Who does he think he is? Because he talked to like two people, he speaks for an entire nation? RIGHT, that's a fact and a half, there. I lock my door, and so do the rest of the people in my neighbourhood.

His documentries consist of interviewing many people, and only showing the people that express his point. That's how documentries work, idiot.

He's not a rebel for putting a Ramones song in his movie. He's not a hero for going to Charelton Heston's mansion and putting a picture of a dead girl on the ground by his house. He's a pretentious bastard.

His movie brought nothing new to the subject of guns, people use guns because they're afraid. CORRECT. If you were living in the Project's in downtown Chigago, would you not be scared for your protection?

On the subject of the gun that kid brought to school: what if he brought a "toy" knife to school? And "pretended" to stab one of his peers? The fact is, he could have left anything dangerous out. It's the Uncles fault, not the fucking Gun industry.

No one ever said he was a hypocrite, by the way.

What Michael Moore does is make outrageous statements that are in direct contradiction of the statements that right-wing extremists (Rush Limbaugh, for example) make every day. While he certainly takes liberties with the truth, so does every pundit in Washington. Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire, and when people hear the things he said, they are (hopefully) inspired to do their own research on the subject to discover what's really true.

Maybe he's a fat (since when was that a crime?) propaghanda-spewing radical leftist. That doesn't change the fact that a bank in Michigan hands out guns to people who open new accounts, or that there are crazy militant inbreds who think that assault rifles are appropriate means of personal security. He's doing the exact same thing that Oliver Stone has done with nearly every film he's made: offsetting the Republican bias in the media. Stone's JFK was never meant to be the "true" story of that assassination, but an overview of some of the theories behind the conspiracies and a way to make people ask "what really happened?" It's a film with a clear intent to spark social interest and debate, and I think that that's exactly what Bowling For Columbine is, too. Moore doesn't care if you think that he's right, what he wants to do is create an uproar. If the social climate becomes muddied enough with the issues, than people can't look the other way anymore. Action will have to be taken, just like it had to be taken in the 60's when extremists like Malcolm X spoke out against racism and "the man".

So please, don't call him an idiot or a kife. He knows what he's exactly what he's doing, and if you could undertand that then you'd respect him.

He could be accused of passive agressive moral-mongering though.

Still, the fact that banks in America hand out guns is incomprehensible to me.

It would be worthwhile to check out Louis Theroux. He manages to degrade Moore's methods through example, without so much as mentioning him.

He does a similar thing to what Moore does, but without setting up the situation on purpose. He'll live with the person he's interviewing and take a small film crew, and through his inquisitive acceptance of the interviewee he'll expose them through false naivety. Best thing on television. I doubt that he'll ever be seen on foreign television unfortunately.

I guess you could import this on faith if you're intriuged.

"From the frighteningly deluded to the mildly eccentric, Louis always finds some way to connect with the people he meets and as a result the series continues to rise above any desire to become overly voyeuristic, to patronise or to judge."

Amazon reviewer puts it better than I could (to think I'd ever make that revelation! The shame. Amazon indeed. Suicide again for me.)
