    Play It Here

This is a java emulator of the NES. As long as your browser is java-enabled, you can play it. Great for when you're studying in the library and need to get your daily retro gaming fix.

It set my sound card to a NES quality sample rate and depth, and now it won't come back. I'm enjoying all of my music in glorious 8-bit sound until I reboot.

Heh, that's awesome. You should record the audio output you get from each mp3 and save them as the "NES remixes" Hope it works alright when you do eventually reboot.

Even better, I could listen to MP3s of NES music, and bask in the double-NES glory of it all.

God, that thought really turned me on.

    Hahaha

In case anyone is interested, Norbert has some other interesting java emulators on his site. Most of them are for arcade machines, but in addition to ONE, he has NOSE (Norbert's Online SMS Emulator). It's only got one game so far, Sonic The Hedgehog, but it's still worth checking out.
