Default Can some one help me with z64 games?

    Hi there,

im having trouble running a few ROMS i downloaded. Now i have both Pj64 and 1964. They run most of my games.

but a few of my games dont run on either. The things these games have in common is that they are not .v64, they are .z64

i was wondering if they belong to a specific emulator, or can i do something to make them run.

    Z64
One standard N64 ROM file extension, indicates Big Endian byte order.

Roms .z64 should work, it works for me.

Z64 : Mr. Backup Z64 (not interleaved) N64 ROM file.
    V64 : Doctor V64 (and compatibles/interleaved) N64 ROM file.

It should work anyway as jv9 said, but if want to convert it to v64, try ucon64. There's also an easier way to convert it, with Aldo's UnFlip 1.0

Just curious, what's the difference between interleaved and not interleaved?

(I think) the non-interleaved memory uses a different memory controller which doesn't support interleaving.

On the ROM context, I understand interleaving as a method to map physically different ROM banks as a only logic one, to speed up accesses.
