1964_084 kirby 64 problem

ok heres the problem,im playing 1964 v0.8.4 and if youre thinking to tell me play project 64,after a minute it freezes so im sticking with 1924 besides the other systems dotn work for me. anyways,on 1964 i try kirby 64 the crystal shards,on the first level in like 5seconds after i move around,it makes kirby stops and i cant move around after that. is there a plugin i can use to fix that?
