    Default Extract content from a N64 ROM?

    Is that possible?
    Things such as sounds and images?
    Anyone know?

    Yes you can extract sounds from roms and isos goto www.zophar.net they've got tools and utilities that can do this.

    As for the music, you might like the USF sound format. You only need to install a plugin to play that music on Winmap, which actually are the sound CPU instruction plus sample data. Sound exactlly like the original, really worth to check it out. Get everything here

    I'd also like to extract sound effects from N64 roms, but I can't find any tools on zophar.net that will do so.

    I think no program is oficially released about it even it does exist at all.

    Well I found a program called Srip that can do it, but it was only able to rip the first set of sounds, which didn't have the sound effects I was looking for. I got an error when I tried to rip the second set.
