sounds like a driver problem, I really cant tell
have you recently installed new hardware on your computer?
if not scan for virusis/trojens or spyware.
If nothing shows up then check the cables inside your computer (its not that hard just remember if you disconnect anything remember where it was pluged in
and remember where "pin 1" is on your IDE cable (the little red line thats on the cable)
Thats all I can think of
If you any help with reconnecting any cables that you may have gotten mixed
up I help you out to find out where it goes (but dont withe any thing else but
your cd-rom drive cables)

well yeah that started happening since i installed a slave drive this morning I know how to do it but it mostly disconnects when I use the epsxe.
It could be a miss configured slave drive mess with the jumpers
but before you do that try a different cd plugiin with epsxe
you got me stumped, But the new hardware you installed sounds like the problem to me.
I could build computers with no problem but I cant troubleshoot em
I'll the best I can help you figure this out
[off-topic]
your from Puerto Rico too?
most of my family live out there. I miss them, I live in New York now with
my brother.

thank but can you tell me how to use daemon tools
oh your talking about a virtual slave drive?
well either way
Right click on the icon daemon tools icon in the taskbar (after executing daemon tools) then go to where it says mount image then find the ISO or whatever it is you want to mount then select it, thats it. configure epsxe to read from that drive
and you'll be able to play
daemon toolsis much easier to use with a front-end like DAEmount
use google to find it
I gotta go to work now
so I'll catch you later
btw you may need to install ASPI or ForceASPI before epsxe can read from a virtual drive (I think) search the forum for it, I think Hargbard poted a link to it somwhere aroun here)
gracias amigo
