Signature/Banner restriction?

Time to set this one straight, as more people registering this site and posted some huge pics or signatures. (Which is very bad for some 56k users who is viewing this site.) So, I start thinking restricting them to around 500*100 banner size or signature length, in which most forums already use this method.

So, Lefty. Any comment on this one?

How about 500x160 pixels, 50kb size and a maximum of 4 lines of text?

oh yeah I had pretty big baner on my sig yesterday
but I was celebrating. But its gone now (as of yesterday).
And yes a lot forums do have a limit for sigs, so It only be normal for E-Z to enforce a rule about them. But be fair, I suggest it to be
no bigger than the one montpics has.

Well, I just made an animation banner which is 500*100 size which turned out to be around 500kb. Resizing them smaller would make it worse. Just can't help it.
