Default But will it harm my PC?

    Hi

My mate's got a PS2 and I wanted to borrow some of his games, so I thought I might d/l an emu for it. I've read stuff about the PS2 discs being completely safe for your pc drive, but this is a new pc and I really want to be sure.

Is there absolutely NO chance of it screwing my PC up? Any more info about it would be helpful. Thanks a lot.

you can put your ps2 disc in your computer drives all you want but it won't work because ps2 emulators do not function 100%. That means 99% of the ps2 games out there are not playable.

Really? I didn't know. Why's that? Would this be the same for DC/XBOX/etc emulators?

I bought FF7 on PSone the other day, and as the controls aren't exactly that complex I think that would be good to play on the PC.

But still, no chance of it damaging the drive or anything?

It still makes no sense to me why they would make a PS2 emulator when it doesn't even work that well.... Ah well whatever,

Then try to get use to it as I did.

No, but you may like to make an CD image from that disc if you don't want to let your CD being scratched or something.

People like challenges, and try to make something which is meant to impossible into possible. Take PS2 emulation for an example. Still, you have to wait and see how's the progress so far. Probably you will see one in near future.

To be honest I have absolutely no idea how to take an image of a cd or whatever you said, but thanks anyway.

Try programs like cd clone or daemon tools.
