Emulator Release: VBALink 1.7.3 Released!

The Visual Boy Advance port with link support, VBALink, has been updated to version 1.7.3. Here are the changes in this version:
  • Wireless adapter emulation (only 2 players singlecomp)

How to use the singlecomp version?

  • Download VBALink
  • Unzip it to a folder like c:\games\vbalink
  • Start two (three, four) VisualBoys at once
  • In Options/Emulator, uncheck Pause when inactive window
  • You don't have to turn off the sound like in tgb - only the active VBA produces sound
  • Setup all the things, like controls, save paths & so on
  • If you want a log of the transfer, check Log in Options/Link

How to use the LAN version?

  • Download VBALink
  • Unzip it to a folder like c:\games\vbalink
  • Setup all the things, like controls, save paths & so on
  • Each player opens VBALink and goes to Options/Link.
  • If you want a log of the transfer, check Log in Options/Link
  • Check "Network"
  • One of you must select Server, choose the number of players and click Start
  • The others choose "Client", enter the IP address of the server and click Connect
  • When all players are connected, a message box with the text "Connected" will appear.
  • Load the game and play!
  • When someone closes the emulator, the others will become disconnected and the server will shut down.

I have been using the normal VBA for a long time now. I would like to have my previous save files converted to the VBAlink version. Is that possible and how should I do that?
