    Default Quick Noob Question

Being new and reading up as much as I can about emulators I have become a little confuzed. I am sure there is a quick and dirty answer to the following question.

Is MAME only a coin-op emulator? If I wanted a NEO-GEO, Atari, or Pinball emu does each one require it's own emu?

Basically, I am builidng a machine with MEEDIO loaded on it to help with handeling all my digital content. I would like to set it up so that I can select the correct emu and then select the game.

    Thanks.

Pinball simulators have their own code and are separate projects from based, although based on it. Mame it's the best arcade machine emulator (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator), and it emulates NeoGeo and Atari games, from example. There are other more specific and good emus, mostly faster than Mame. You also need roms, which are the games indeed that you should got separately.
