Control freak

Hi.
I just introduced myself in the Introductions corner and so I'll just get on with it, if you don't mind.

I accidentally got Fusion32 to work, as I needed a Sega CD emulator for Final Fight. But now I can't find how to control it.
As in joystick.
The thing tells me to press "start" at one point, but I'll be a rockstar if I can find it.

So the actual question would be: How do I tell Fusion what I'm gonna use for a controller?
I was thinking to just use the keyboard, but I have this USB gamepad lying around as well.

And nevermind.
I was screwing around with some files and all of a sudden everything started to work. Consider this topic done with, as far as I'm concerned.
